Adam S.
Private tutor in Adelaide, Australia
Education
In the 4th year of my PhD in surveying technology, completed an honours degree (1st class) in Antarctic Studies in 2005, BSc (psychology) in 1998.
Experience
I've spent the past five years immersed in the study of sea ice physics and airborne surveying. This is an intense mixture of geography, earth science, physics and statistics. I started this path after gaining a first class honours, writing my thesis on the calculation of sea ice physical properties from digital aerial photographs. I'd like to become a tutor to not only assist with problems to hand, but engender a feel of where a career in science can lead, and how the seemingly-trivial problems of school or early university can prove invaluable.
