Experience
I have experience tutoring both high school mathematics and physics. I currently tutor high school students in all levels of math as well as finance, geology, astronomy, and physics. I also tutor students who are taking courses in similar fields as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program such as AP Physics 2. Working with students in a one-on-one learning environment allows me to focus on the exact topics that the student is struggling with. When a student is taking a mathematics course, for example, the problem might not lie with the concepts currently being covered in the class. Instead, the root of the problem might be found in a lack of understanding or mastery of techniques covered in previous courses that are now making it difficult for the student to move forward with their current studies. By addressing these older concepts first, the current information becomes more easily accessible.
