Education
I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Auckland in New Zealand in 2003 and my M.Sc. (First-Class Honours) in Chemistry, at the University of Auckland, in New Zealand in 2007. I received the Fulbright graduate award, for my studies between 2007-2012.
Experience
I am a university lecturer in chemistry and teach a variety of courses ranging from introductory chemistry to advanced topics (particularly in inorganic chemistry). I have several years of experience teaching Japanese, maths, and science at the high school level. I enjoy teaching chemistry to students of all levels (high school or undergraduate) and have experience running several group tutorials and helping students on a one-on-one basis. I am a native speaker of both Japanese and English and have taught conversational skills in both languages. I also have experience preparing people for language exams including the Japanese Language-Proficiency Test (up to grade 1), TOEFL, and TOEIC. I scored a 740 on my GMAT.

Hobbies
I enjoy recreational sports, international cuisine and culture, all types of music, and sharing my international experiences with the students that I teach. I am relatively new to the Adelaide, and would enjoy learning what people do for fun in the area!
