Lachlan K.
Private tutor in Adelaide, Australia
Education
Currently, I am a medical student at Flinders University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Paramedic Science with a GPA of 6.54 at Flinders University in 2014. Following that, I completed my first-year Chemistry with a GPA of 7 at Adelaide University in 2015 before I was accepted into the postgraduate medical program at Flinders University.
Experience
I began tutoring physiology in 2015. The following year, I started working with students in year 12 and first-year chemistry. I am most comfortable tutoring students in basic biochemistry topics, such as glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, and glycogenolysis, as well as cardiac physiology, respiratory physiology, neural physiology, and year 12 and first-year chemistry. My expertise is ideal for students studying health and medical sciences. I find that tutoring is as valuable to my own learning as it is to the students I'm helping learn. I pride myself on explaining concepts of science and physiology in ways that allow people to not only learn, but remember them.

Hobbies
I'm strongly into my own sport as well as coaching. I've travelled Australia playing and coaching basketball in National championships and at a club representative level. In 2014 I travelled all over Europe for 3 months, as well as visiting my brother who lives in Berlin (the hipster). I've recently come back from a trip to Mexico and South America, and will (hopefully) be heading overseas again at the end of this year if the funds permit.
