20/06/2016-20/05/2017 Gigi's Learning Playland| Hong Kong At Gigi's Learning Playland I am the co-ordinator of the Pre Nursery and Playgroup programmes, I have built our Curriculum based around our young learners aged 2-4. This is an important and crucial curriculum to plan because as well as developing upon life skills and milestones that all Children develop, our students are leaning this in their second Language, English. I develop lesson plans, worksheets and teaching materials for Pre Nursery, Playgroup and Music Playgroup. My name is Jessie Hope, I grew up in the United Kingdom but moved to Adelaide with my family in 2008.For the past 3 years I have been living and working in Hong Kong teaching English to young learners. I am a certified TEFL teacher, specialising in young learners English and Business English. Over the last 3 years I have taught a range of young learners starting from 6 months and stretching to 7 years old as well as Mature aged learners. Throughout my experience I have discovered I am most passionate and confident in educating the early years levels, and creating curriculums, lesson plans, teaching materials and activities for these crucial first years of a learners life. I have experience teaching using Howard Gardner’s Theory Of Multiple Intelligences and enjoy combing this with a Montessori edge to engage every student! I love observing and learning about each individual learner and developing the perfect learning environment to suit each learner. I have recently moved back to Adelaide and am currently studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
