Education
I received my Bachelor of Education with a focus on Primary School and my Bachelor of Special Education from Osaka Kyoiku University. I also received my Master of Education, with a focus on Special Education, from Flinders University.
Experience
I have 11 years of experience teaching at primary schools in Japan, with students ranging from 6 to 12 years old. At these schools, I was teaching both Japanese and mathematics. I was also teaching subjects and communication skills to students with special needs. I have also been teaching Japanese to adult foreigners for 4 years through a language club. Some of the skills we have worked on include grammar, writing, and conversation. I have also helped with preparation for exams. I have used textbooks, Genki and Japanese for busy people. As for my qualifications, I am a primary school teacher, a special education teacher, I have my IELTS 7, and my Child-Related Employment Screening check. I am also happy to tutor mathematics and Japanese to children of school age up to 12 years old.
