I graduated with a Master of Arts in French and Italian Linguistics and Literature at the University of Bern, Switzerland in 2011, where all the courses were taught in French and in Italian. I obtained my diploma in Upper Secondary Education in teaching French and Italian as a second language on senior high school level from the Padagogische Hochschule Bern in 2013.

Bonjour, Buongiorno, Guten Tag! I am a certified language teacher from Switzerland. Having grown up in a country with four national languages, namely German, French, Italian, and Romansh, has allowed me to easily become multilingual. My mother tongue is Swiss-German. I started learning French at the age of 11 and Italian at the age of 13. Regular visits from local friends and longer stays in France and Italy have kept my communication skills up to date. I taught French and Italian at a Senior High School (Gymnasium) in Switzerland from 2013 - July 2017. I worked as a teacher at the School for the German Language, Adelaide (2022) preparing students for DSD (International official German language certificate). I love teaching and I am keen to help you with any of your needs learning these beautiful languages: whether you are struggling with pronunciation or understanding conversations or written texts, or you would like to improve your writing skills. Perhaps you simply would like to parler français, parlare italiano or Deutsch sprechen in a relaxed atmosphere? I also do individual preparation for French DELF exams, German DSD or SACE. I have always had a passion for languages and cultures. I love meeting new people of different cultural backgrounds and learning from them.
