Education
I completed the primary years program of the Learning Through Inquiry teacher training for the International Baccalaureate. In 2016 I also obtained a graduate certificate specializing in Australian migration law and practice from the Australian National University in Canberra. In addition to all of this, I have completed a Bachelor Arts degree with a specialization in Linguistics and Languages with a major in Arabic and minors in French and Linguistics from the University of South Australia in Adelaide in 2010.
Experience
I have experience working as an IELTS and TOEFL coach helping students to prepare for their English tests and achieve the best score. I tailor my programs to help you get the right IELTS band, for example if you require a 6.0 or 7.0 in order to get more points for the Australian skilled visa points test. I have been working as a private tutor for more than 8 years, with particular expertise in teaching English as a second language to non-native speakers. In addition to this, I taught English for several years at an International Baccalaureate primary school in Amman, Jordan. As a language learner myself, I am very enthusiastic about using the best practices to suit your learning style to ensure that you are able to speak fluently with confidence. I am also a registered migration agent and can offer you advice on Australian visas if needed.
