Education
I graduated my final year of secondary school a year early due to early acceptance into university where I earned my undergraduate degree in education research.
Experience
I am passionate about literature and history across all levels. I have previously tutored and mentored students online through rural access channels and I have privately tutored a primary school level ASD student for more than a year in all subject areas. I have also taught high school English, civics and citizenship, geography, and history. I currently work with students of all ages in the fields of English and social sciences. Some of the specific courses I tutor include sociology, religious studies, reading, geography, and writing. I also work with students who are taking courses in these fields as part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Advanced Placement (AP) programs such as IB Global Politics HL and AP U.S. Government & Politics. I additionally offer test prep tutoring for standardized exams in these fields such as the PCAT Writing, SAT Subject Test in World History, and ACT Reading.
