Experience

I tutor Latin for High School students from Years 7-12, with a focus on Preliminary (Y11) and HSC (Y12) students. During Latin tutoring, I focus on the following: Perfecting Prescribed Translations, Building a stronger, long-term understanding of Latin Grammar, Writing TOP BAND Latin Commentary Answers, Approaching and efficiently translating Unprescribed Texts (Unseens), Applying the best study techniques for Latin from the experience of numerous past students and Working through a variety of Past Selective School HSC trials, Past Private School HSC trials and Past HSC exam questions. Of course, we can tailor tutoring to your needs - but this is just a rough outline of what we might do together! :) I have been tutoring Latin for 3 years and currently tutor online. I have guided students from NSW, VIC and SA to Top Band Latin scores.
