Education
I hold several degrees. I have an Advanced Diploma in Arts Therapy, a Higher Diploma in Education, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Philosophy, a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Art History, a master's in Interior Design, and a Ph.D. in Interior Architecture. I hold a variety of additional qualifications as well, such as the Certificate of Continuing Professional Development in 5th Shared Learning in Clinical Practice.
Experience
I have over three decades of experience in higher education. Though I am retired from teaching full-time, I am happy to continue assisting students as they work to achieve their academic dreams. I have written a variety of books, scholarly book chapters, and peer-reviewed journal articles. Between 1995 and 2015, I have received a multitude of awards from the University of South Australia, including the Supported Researcher Award, the Supported Teacher Award, and the Divisional Research Grant to study media and consumer participation of new arrival families.
