Education
Current Study Hi there, my name is Connor and I am currently a first-year Master of Philosophy student in music composition Elder Conservatorium of Music (University of Adelaide). Last year, I graduated with First-Class Honours in Composition from the Elder Conservatorium and before that, I studied a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music) undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Queensland where I graduated with distinction. I was also awarded the Creative Arts Faculty Medal and was valedictorian at my graduation.
Experience
I have experience tutoring at the high school and undergraduate university level. I have also conducted music composition workshops at the high school level. As a composer, I have written orchestral, chamber and solo music, which has been performed across Australia by professional ensembles such as the Australian String Quartet and community and student ensembles such as the Adelaide Wind Orchestra, Elder Conservatorium Wind Orchestra, Toowoomba Concert Orchestra and Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra. In 2019 I was the Winner of the Inaugural Adelaide Wind Orchestra Composers' Competition. I have also composed for film and other multimedia projects.

Hobbies
A large part of my life is spent writing, playing, listening to and researching music! At the moment I am writing a concerto for Clarinet and Piano as part of my Master's degree. When I'm not thinking about music I love to play cricket, read, or enjoy some good comedy (usually British shows like Blackadder, Black Books or the IT Crowd).
