Education
I earned my undergraduate degree in media from Adelaide University. I have also earned a Level IV Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) at Technical and Further Education (TAFE) SA.
Experience
I have provided English as a second language tutoring for years in a variety of settings, including the GEOS Adelaide College of English, Eynesbury College, Browns College, and more. In terms of my own scores, I got an 87.2 TER in SACE Stage 2 and performed well at university. I received excellent feedback from my instructor in my TAFE TESOL course. I have also traveled extensively and worked with many different nationalities in Adelaide, northern NSW, and the Gold Coast. Working with a language tutor in a one-on-one setting is invaluable because it gives students more opportunities to practice their receptive and expressive language skills with someone who is equipped to offer them real time feedback in a constructive and methodical way.
