I have previous tutoring experience in my field of expertise. I currently work with high school and college students in the fields of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. My areas of academic expertise can be challenging for many students. Working with someone who understands the topics thoroughly and who can offer targeted academic support can be invaluable in learning this type of material. When I work with a student in a one-on-one learning environment we have the opportunity to work on the exact material that the student is having trouble with. We don't have to rush on to the next topic and can move at a pace comfortable for the student. The ability to slow down or speed up as necessary coupled with relevant instruction can help students become less frustrated with the learning process and more engaged with the material which of course leads to better results.
