Education
Currently, I am pursuing my Graduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics. I am majoring in TESOL. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Asian Studies from the University of Adelaide. I earned my Diploma of Translating in Japanese and Certificate IV in TESOL at TAFE SA. I completed the Certificate for the 420-hour Advanced Japanese Teacher Training at World Japanese Language Centre in Sydney.
Experience
Experience in teaching ESL in Literacy programs for migrants, as well as English for academic purposes at TAFE SA. I tutored English grammar and Japanese language in Hong Kong. I was a legal translator between Japanese and English in Tokyo, Japan, and a senior translator in Hong Kong, where I enjoyed providing online training to the company's registered translators. Through these experiences, I have only strengthened my language and teaching skills. I can offer students assistance in learning Japanese or Spanish, regardless of where their skill level lies.
