I am a native Cantonese speaker, and I have studied Cantonese formally as well. Also, I am able to speak Mandarin Chinese, having studied it since Primary School. I studied Japanese in secondary school and earned an A grade. I am able to correct and teach Australian High School level Japanese. I am able to provide personalized instruction to help students make the most of their academic opportunities. During one-on-one sessions, I can focus on whatever skills and concepts are most important for the student's development. Because of my experience with several languages, I am able to incorporate a variety of useful teaching techniques and offer holistic language instruction. I can present the material in ways that fit the student's learning style to help them internalize what they are studying. I am also able to pace sessions according to the student's goals and situation.
