Education
I am currently completing a PhD on the use of deep learning software for advanced biomechanical gait analysis (at The University of Adelaide). I hold a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences (Hons) from The University of Queensland. I graduated secondary school at West Moreton Anglican College with an OP3 after achieving multiple awards for academic excellence in my final years.
Experience
In 2019 I was a practical demonstrator for first and second year Biomechanics at the University of Queensland. I tutored 120+ students and assisted with examination marking. I have also tutored at multiple colleges at the University of Queensland with small groups of 2-4 students. Finally, I was a freelance tutor during my undergraduate degree, assisting over two-dozen students over varying time frames throughout each academic year. I love tutoring because it allows me to meet new people, share my perspectives on the world, and inspire others. I also enjoy refining my own knowledge and learning new ways to approach problems. I believe tutoring is a great way to encourage new patterns of thought and behaviour that can transform our lives. My mission is to communicate concepts in a manner that suits each individual so that they adopt a genuine passion for learning. My specialty area is Biomechanics as I am currently doing Biomechanics research and most of my tuition experience comes from teaching that subject.
