Teaching is my passion. Education is the most powerful weapon. By delivering my knowledge to others, I can set a career path for myself and help students from a wide range of backgrounds learn and become more confident in their abilities. I have tutored part time in the past and was an assistant professor for two years. My experience includes teaching 10th grade students in English, math, physics, and chemistry. Subject areas I have experience in include geology, materials science, civil engineering, calculus, and AP Environmental Science. I structure each lesson around the student's personal learning needs and use teaching methods and materials that have the most potential to streamline their learning process. One-on-one instruction lets me use the student's skills, goals, and interests to create engaging study sessions, adapt my approach, and help them reach for their goals.
