Education
I have a Bachelor's degree minoring in TESOL which I completed in 2010. This course took me through the basics of English language teaching and gave me a feel for both tutoring (where I had my own student) and also teaching in a classroom setting. I completed a Diploma of Editing in 2013. This gave me extensive experience working in the editing world and took my knowledge of grammar to the next level. This year I will be undertaking a Graduate Diploma in TESOL.
Experience
In 2016 I completed a short course through TAFE SA which set me up to be a home tutor for refugees in Australia. It gave me basic skills in working with them, understanding them and helping them improve their language. Through this I have been working with a pre-beginner student and I also have an intermediate student who I also tutor in a community setting. I have also started working for an online company where I conduct lessons via Skype so I get to work with students from all over the world. I have previously worked with international students at Adelaide Uni assisting them with assignments and general English practice.

Hobbies
I am an avid book reader and I also love writing. You could say I love anything to do with words and language! If I could just read books all day I would be pretty happy! I love working with words and language; it is definitely a passion of mine! I also enjoy playing tennis, watching movies and spending time with friends.
