I attended the Australian National University as an undergraduate student and went on to complete a Bachelor of Asian Studies degree with a specialization in Indonesian and Malay. In addition to this, I also have a certificate IV in training and assessment. I also attended graduate school at the University of Newcastle where I completed a master's degree with a specialization in environmental and business management, which I obtained with distinction.

I have more than 15 years of vocational and industry teaching experience. I am able to combine theory with practical examples given my extensive experience working in the education, mining, and government sectors.
