Education
I attended the University of Adelaide and earned a double degree. I earned a bachelor's degree in media and a bachelor of arts. I am currently studying to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Adelaide. I have a current GPA of 5.7.
Experience
I am a native English speaker, even though my background is in Ethiopian and Australian. I grew up in South Australia and moved to Adelaide to further my education. I have previously tutored friends during high school in biology. Also, during my grade 12 studies, I took part in my school's primary school mentoring program. I am passionate about volunteering and have dedicated a lot of time over the years to a variety of events and organizations. I was a student present at Radio Adelaide for one year, volunteering as part of their Student Radio Program. I held the Events Coordinator of the Japanese Language and Cultural Society position at the University of Adelaide during 2015. This year I also volunteered my time at AVCon. I have primary and secondary tutoring experience in many areas, including grade 1-7 English, 1-7 sciences, history, English studies, basic psychology, Psychology 1A. Media, ESL, and more. I am very patient and like to tailor my tutoring style for each student to get the help they need. I have been in tertiary education for four years. I have acquired numerous good studying methods and many tips on how to get through high school and college studies.
